Palmarosa is perhaps not a very well know essential oil - but the oil it is used to adulterate is! Rose oil is commonly adulterated by Palmarosa due to its similar scent. However Palmarosa essential oil does have many properties and uses in aromatherapy in its own right and shouldn't be dismissed as just as 'adulterator'.
